Something You Have Always Wanted To Do.

Postby reflection » Fri Sep 07, 2012 5:30 pm

What is something that you have ALWAYS wanted to do but havent because of being afraid or being judged or rejected or whatever reason :?:

I have always wanted to get on a plane and take a trip alone. Get the rental car. Hotel. All of it. All by myself. Just to see if I can do it. No. Just to know that I CAN DO IT.

I want to go on a trip to Finland, because one night I dreamt that I was in a pitch-black room and a voice was telling me "Go to Finland......." over and over again.
My family is always making fun of me for one thing or another and turns everything into a joke, so me being INCREDIBLY sensitive to being mocked, I haven't told anyone this before. Ever.

I have always wanted to tell my entire family of my sexuality. You see, most of my family is a bit homophobic, so if I were to tell them that I am a pansexual, it would make them freak.

I don't have to worry about that one, Anasui. I was "ratted" out by a relative of mine and now my entire family (aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, siblings, grandparents) knows that I swing both ways.

lol, my boyfriend and some close friends know I'm pan. So it's cool. They are the ones that also know about my BPD, and other struggles... So it's kinda nice to know that I got some people who won't view negatively at me.

I'd like to tell everyone that I think I was born the wrong gender. And I think it'd be rad to switch genders because I probably have the biggest Freudian case of penis envy that ever existed ever.

I'd also like to do something with my creativity and writing that would amount to something more than just dusty short stories that sit on deviantART not doing anything. I don't even have many fans on dA for my work.

I have to go with Anasui. I've managed to tell some people. One supported me all the way, the other didn't like it too much. They were both family. Since the response from the second person, I'm much more reluctant to tell anyone else.

I agree with Anasui on the whole coming out thing. But I mostly date women anyhow, so it would be all "Hey everyone! I'm bisexual!" "So where, is your boyfriend then?" "I... um don't have one at the moment?" "A HA! I'VE CAUGHT YOU IN A LIE! GO HAVE SEX WITH THAT STRANGE MAN TO PROVE YOUR SEXUALITY TO YOUR FAMILY AND LOVED ONES." *cry*

Or maybe tell them about my Borderline? They'd be pretty dismissive about that too I'm sure. I'd like to travel to Europe at some point in my life. I'd settle for Canada. I just want to experience a little bit of life outside of the United States.

My family would reject the idea of me having BPD, despite the fact that anybody on the outside can tell that something isn't completely right with me, emotionally. My grandparents are educators, so they will only excuse it as some stronger form of ADD/ADHD. They have yet to realize that while I with them, I have been suicidally depressed at least 3 times while with them, and have just been depressed while with them for most of the time. Love how they also go off saying that back when they were educators, they could spot those kinds of things a mile away...

I do remember I tried to tell my grandmother about my BPD, but she ended up turning it around herself saying she feels the same way as well. Which really isn't a shocker to me because she's a hypochondriac.
