Drugs for those who lack empathy for the mentally ill

Wouldn't it be nice if they made medications that *temporarily* caused mental illness? Even just for a few hours.

They've spent so much time and money on giving US drugs, why don't they try and create drugs for the jerks who think mental illness is made up, or those who suffer from psych issues just aren't strong, or people who subscribe to the "suck it up and deal" school of psychology.

"Hey, you think that person with BPD is just an ass and looking for excuses? Here, try BPD on for a few hours... see if going through emotional hell changes your mind?"

I know this is probably completely impossible, but hey... I can dream.

There already is. And illegal. Been around for a while.
