why, were yours?
yes my Dad was. I have definite perfectionist tendencies, not quite ocd but some ocd like behaviours, which are apparently part of my GAD, not ocd.

GAD is generalised anxiety disorder, which is basically excessive worry/chronic anxiety, leads to insomnia, depression and physical symptoms like headaches.

Those physical symptoms are trying to tell your thoughts that they are wrong.

Actually no - anxiety with GAD is often irrational anxieety.

I recognize that anxiety is irrational that's why it feels bad. Again, your body feeling bad is trying to tell your mind that it is headed down the wrong path.
