I feel like I have Failed!!!

Hi soo I'm sitting here at work waited to get my confirmation that I will not be rehired! This waiting $#%^ is driving me crazy! I'm about 95% sure that I will get this email today then I'm going to put in for 2 personal days and leave! tomorrow is the last offical day for me. I will recieve a check tomorrow and on the 20th i will recieve my last one and then unemployment! ugh i dont even know where to start! I knew this was coming now that it is so close my anxiety is going crazy!!. I'm already thinking about how now finally I can truely purge my food and engage in this without much interuption except my son comes first!!! I just feel like total crap about myself and Im actually quite disgusted!!!

Why are you so sure you won't be rehired? Are they cutting back on staff in general?

idk y im sure i guess its my bpd instinct. But yes they layed off and restructured our whole department! Well i ended up staying the whole day but im taking off tomorrow!

They need to give you a fair enough reason and if its cutting back on staff this happens in all businesses at times i take those things personally too but its not personal you would receive a pay out.

Did you do something that made them not want to hire you ? Do you have a HR department there and being BPD itself does not get you fired because that would be discrimination and you can take them up on it.

No I didnt do anything to be laid-off, my director hired a woman he knows instead.. I went to unemployment and I think that went pretty well. So at least I get some time to hang out with my lil 18month son! Mornings are supper hard for me but I feel better at night! I have my psych appointment on Saturday and he said he will give me a higher dose of Lyrica. That is a great med it helps me be less anxious and depressed. The unemployment office has a program where I might be able to go back to school and I am thinking about phlebotomy/ dialisys tech. I am going to have to see if my psych will put me back on my ADD meds. This is really stressfull! Thanks for the reply! love Andrea
