broken_wings, welcome & kudos for facing your diagnosis head on by coming here!
I'm a 30 year old female from N America as well. I was diagnosed when I was about your age and have been struggling to prove it wrong ever since (not doing well with that just yet

).
I'm sorry that you have so little support from family/friends to help you through your diagnosis and the steps to come but I do have what I believe is a helpful suggestion. Sometimes when I feel alone in the world (despite family & friends being available) I confide in my dog. I talk to him, he understands, he kisses me better, and when I'm done he is the one who judges me least. I actually have a pillow on my couch that says, "My goal in life is to be the type of person my dog thinks I am." Truer words have never been embroidered!
So, if you have a pet or if you are able to get one (even if it's just a fish) I think you may find that friends (and family) come in all shapes & sizes. Another option if you cannot get a pet right now would be to volunteer at an animal shelter helping to care for animals. I volunteer as a dog walker at a local animal shelter and find it very rewarding and therapeutic... helps clear my head on bad days when nothing else is a good enough distraction.
Hope this helps
