What now? (Possible trigger)

Postby Mavet » Wed Feb 15, 2012 4:26 pm

Well, I've been in therapy for a year and a half now. I'm in a relationship with my neighbor and doing my schooling well, et cetera. It's great.

But...

I can't help but be afraid that it's going to crash down again. He could leave me. My mood could fall. You know the cycle. What do I do, and has anyone ever felt like this? :?
We're all mad here.

Hi Mavet!

I guess all of us know in the back of our heads that a downturn is always possible, but my personal experience has been to practice my coping skills as much as possible, so that when a depressed state comes upon me, then it is easier to deal with, and get out of the hole. Know what I mean?

There is no magic wand to make us all better, but we can try.

I agree with Miss Ali;

I think that it is the fear of the unknown. Everyone has that, it is just human nature to question.

WE all have the, "what if this happens" moments, and to make matters worse we then start Imagining scenarios. Well if this happens, then this is going to happen. And we haven’t even done anything yet.
No one needs to have a disorder to do this, you just need to be breathing.
It is amazing what our minds and imagination will talk us out of doing.
Our sorrows and wounds are healed only when we touch them with compassion.
