I've been feeling totally overwhelmed by it lately. I don't know what to do with it. Keep trying to find things to fill it with, but nothing works.
How do other people deal with it? Constructively or not, I'm curious to know.

How do I deal with the emptiness? Try and replace it with images, things, moments, people, animals, etc that make me smile, even if it's for seconds. I figure if I can find seconds that can add up to minutes then voila! Maybe I can get to a whole day?!

I try to keep as busy as possible to keep myself in control. It makes me not notice my emotions as much. My pills make me feel kind of "robotic" lately and I've been trying to feel something and all I get is mild anxiety.
We're all mad here.

I have no good solution yet. I find that I try to frenetically keep myself busy since it takes my mind off the emptiness. The first thing I often turn to is the household chores/errands. I find that I take them on with a vengeance. I clean and clean and clean. Only the passage of time makes the feelings of emptiness slowly fade away.

I have reminders of people, places and events all around me, or try to keep them around me, but they lose their meaning and start to just blend in with the surroundings. I try to keep busy, but lack of motivation becomes an issue too. I'm just lost with it at present.

My maldaptive ways of dealing with emptiness is to throw money at it or drugs. Arguably healthier options include helping others and loving/caring for my gf and enjoying our time together.

either just sit around feeling #######5, or talk to someone about it.
