They've finally brought the show back by popular demand, the new Beavis & Butthead episodes begin airing on MTV this coming October 27. There's a preview of it on Youtube but it's so incredibly graphic that I wont link it here even with a *trigger* warning. Thought I would let people know it's there though so they can find it themselves if they are one of those able to handle it. Very self-harm triggering, me thinks. I don't self-harm, though, so...
Mike judge didn't want to make one with Beavis & Butthead in their 20's as it wouldn't have felt right to him or words to that effect, so he was thinking of making one with them in their mid-40's or so but that idea was unpopular with fans. So, he brought it back with them still as teenagers.

Ours is a very unique generation in that what was 'cool' to us as teenagers is 'cool' to teenagers of today. Playing MMORPG's you meet teenagers, you meet people your own age, you meet people older. Anyway, that's one large part of how I know. One thing I learned is that music considered 'cool' today is seen as owing its roots to grunge, so I was this 'cool' older guy who was grunge as a teenager and listened to grunge during the time it was new music.
And everyone thought grunge was just a passing fad that no one would remember. Honestly, I think the grunge-haters of the day were a little jelly of it.
