Poll: BPD, Are you an only child?

I, myself, am an only child... or, at least, was raised an only child (I have step-siblings & a half-sibling, all of whom were significantly older than me & I never got to know them.

I am curious to learn how many BPDs here are only children & how many of you have siblings.

I am the youngest of three... well, four.
I have a half-sister who is 14 years older than me but I have never met her.
My older brother (13 years my senior) is actually a half-brother but he considers my Dad his father.
& My other sister, who is a full sibling, is 3 years older than me.

I've come from a stable household of mum dad and three kids- I'm the oldest (and the only one that ended up with the problems).

No brothers, no sisters. I had enough friends with brothers and sisters though, that it felt like I had siblings.

Only child, raised with other people's children as "siblings". My mother has switched partners many times, so I have quite a few "siblings" that are not in my life anymore.

yes. my parents only had one child to disarrange, so they focussed all their efforts on me.

No, I'm a middle child. A massively overlooked one.

Only male with 3 sisters. Spoilt in some ways, ignored and neglected in others, especially by my father

I am like you. Raised an only child. I have one half brother and one half sister. Don't have much if any of a relationship with either. Only saw them once or twice a month growing up.
