Pon & Zi cartoon. Most people see that comic and think "hey, he thinks his girlfriend is really pretty", whereas my first thought was "poor flower. He just called it ugly."
I clicked and saw the comic and thought, 'Awww poor flower' but isn't that a normal reaction? I mean, wasn't that what was implied? I didn't feel that sad that I needed to cry or anything, but I don't see that reaction as anything extreme, or am I wrong? Not that it matters because what I think is what I think but it's interesting to see how people see that as a BPD reaction when I think that's pretty normal.
Strange, I have BPD, and I thought he was complementing his girlfriend, that she is so beautiful she could teach a flower to be prettier.? Maybe that's just a romantic's take on it!

I really can't add more to what's been said, and welcome to the board!

It's a good place here where you can feel like you belong--I know I do.
