OMG, Apoll, that picture made me laugh until snot came out of my nose.

That was exactly what I needed today!

BPD pretty much means what everyone has posted, and it basically signifies a mess of emotions that are fleeting. That's how I feel anyways. They never stick though, it seems.

Whoa! Now you've just emotionally extrapolated what Chaude said and blew it out of proportion exactly in the way you just got through describing. This thread is blowing my mind...

It's quite funny really, we've all done it on this site. Well, she wanted to know the symptoms of BPD... There's atleast three examples on here right now :P
I need some meaning I can memorize,

Flowers need some good talking to now and again.

. The example I was looking for was this (**MAY TRIGGER**) Pon & Zi cartoon. Most people see that comic and think "hey, he thinks his girlfriend is really pretty", whereas my first thought was "poor flower. He just called it ugly."

I clicked and saw the comic and thought, 'Awww poor flower' but isn't that a normal reaction? I mean, wasn't that what was implied? I didn't feel that sad that I needed to cry or anything, but I don't see that reaction as anything extreme, or am I wrong? Not that it matters because what I think is what I think but it's interesting to see how people see that as a BPD reaction when I think that's pretty normal.

Strange, I have BPD, and I thought he was complementing his girlfriend, that she is so beautiful she could teach a flower to be prettier.? Maybe that's just a romantic's take on it! :)

I really can't add more to what's been said, and welcome to the board! :) It's a good place here where you can feel like you belong--I know I do.

PS for some good humor check out http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2 ... adult.html -- see we may have it a bit worse than other folks, but we're still normal! :)

Edit, sheesh I'm so judgmental today

Edit, some of the cartoons at Pon&Zi are heartmeltingly cute, but some are downright horrid.
