Somehow I don't mind it on here, having everyone describe experiences similar to mine or talk about they're problems. But when it comes to people I know mentioning they have any form of mental health difficulty makes my blood boil and I instantly think "they're lying" or "they're exaggerating, they're nowhere near as bad as me", which I know is a terrible thing to think and then I'll start going on about all the s*** that's happened to me to try and get one up on them! I hate it!!! But can't help it!!!
Does anyone else get this? It will actually make me feel better for once knowing someone else is experiencing the same thing!!
supposedly BP NOS (previous dx emerging BPD from age 16-18).

I go through the same thing! Even when it comes to my bf who is suffering from anxiety. When he tells me i had the worst panic attack, i think to myself " it can't be worse than mine..." I also hate it when i explain my thoughts and my friends say "omg me too!" Um....no you don't! Shut up! and i just get really frustrated. That's why i think that nobody understands me...so you're definitely not alone on this.

YES.
I often feel annoyed when someone tries to tell me they understand. Unless I really believe that they do. Or when they say "oh well everyone does that. that happens to the best of us. oh that happens when you get depressed"
BEING DEPRESSED IS NOT MY ISSUE. IF I WAS SIMPLY DEPRESSED THEN IM SURE MY EFFEXOR WOULD BE DOING WONDERS.
ahem. so, yeah.

yes same like with eating disorders, mental health issues such as bpd or when i was diagnosed as bipolar type 2 before that, then i liked the people i met understood me more and could be friends but i still have waves of stress and frustration over that .... especially if they do it better or are better people i feel like a huge fraud to society or nothing again.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure "the best of us" don't feel as #######5 as I do everyday.
