Under-boob, side-boob or top-boob?

Postby Apocallcaps » Tue Jun 28, 2011 3:36 am

Which do you think borderlines tend to prefer? I'm wondering if BPD determines men's preference of one over the others. Do you think there's a connection between BPD men and their preference for boob showage? Lesbians and gays/homosexuals feel free to participate in this thread, your input is welcome also.

What I mean is the part of the boob that is displayed when women are wearing a revealing top.

This is a serious post...

Personally, I LOVE under-boob. My favorite without a doubt. Beats the other two hands down.

Which do you prefer?

Edit: Even heterosexual women's thoughts and opinions on the matter are welcome. This is not an exclusive thread.

I find it an odd idea that people with BPD would all have the same 'type'. But another way to test would be for you all to describe the physical characteristics of your ex-partners and check for similarities.

Personally, I find the question the way you phrased it a bit offensive. It could encourage the objectification of women. :(

But for the record, I'm not into boob showage at all. I like breasts fully clothed or fully naked. I think it looks ugly when breasts appear as if they are about to 'pop out' from clothing. But that's just my opinion.
No diagnosis, lots of opinions, and a bunch of issues that I haven't quite figured out.

I agree. Its a great way to make women with BPD feel more rejected- encouraging that their "boob showage" as you put it might now not be good enough for others.

Being treated like a sex object is a huge trigger for me. It makes me feel hurt and sick to my stomach just to think that a man wants nothing more than my body because it verifies my belief that my personality and inner self just isnt good enough.

Well in the DSM it says issues regarding sexuality or gender can be part of BPD? Something to that effect--it wasn't entirely clear to me what it meant or what it had to do with. I was under the impression that this board was meant as a safe place for people to feel free to talk about anything they felt might be regarding borderline?

I'm not meaning to be confrontational with you there so please don't misunderstand me. This isn't meant to offend anyone and I tried to write it as respectfully and matter-of-fact as possible so I hope it doesn't have that effect; or, I hope I'm at least given the benefit of the doubt.

I made certain to make it clear that anyone is welcome if they choose to discuss the issue to make it clear that this isn't meant to be sexist or gender-centric. I don't want this topic to turn sexual or anything; I want it to be kept objective, scientific and based on layman psychology as much as possible.

I apologize if my topic appears, or is, ignorant. I would hope that it does not.

Cheers

I also am not too sure about the relevance of this post, but it did give me a good laugh and I really needed a pick-me-up today.

Definitely top boob, although I like all 3 :P.

Interesting...

And I'm sorry if how I phrased it came off that way :( I tried to write it very carefully. I too disdain the idea of women being objects. I'd never wish to encourage that line of thinking. It's why I dislike pornography which I feel objectifies and degrades both women and men and takes advantage of vulnerable, desperate young people.

Sorry for getting a bit tense, i'm newly diagnosed, and just started to share with people, and i was shocked to see something like this on here as it is so different from everywhere else. I honestly couldnt see how it related to borderline, but everyones borderline is different isnt it i suppose. I do think preference for "boob showage" as you've put it is more of a personal everyone has though not just BPDs. I do relate my borderline to sexuality as i have a problem with casual sex as a way to feel needed (which is in the DSM apparently). Ive always been treated like a sex object probably because thats what i put forward, which is also why it makes it a trigger for me. ITs a bad cycle! But i think breasts look good no matter how much is showing, unless its inappropriate for the occassion!
