I am female and gay / lesbian. I spend a lot of time on the internet because I have extreme difficulty interacting with people in the real world. I have difficulty interacting with people online too so I mostly read things rather than participating, although I do actively participate in a few forums. Lately over the past few months I have been getting more and more frustrated and angry with anything in any way related to male sexuality. I do not hate men, and some of the nicest people I know are male. But the moment someone online say something sexual from a male perspective I feel feelings I cannot put into words, the only way I can describe it is a mixture of disgust and rage. It is especially bad when the person has been nice and civil and I started to like or respect them, then they say something sexual and my heart sinks and my whole soul burns with the pain of feeling deceived and betrayed. I can't control these feelings and they are getting worse every day. I know these aren't normal feelings but they hurt so much and I don't know why they are happening. I used to be care-free and could ignore things but now everything gets to me. I want these feelings to go away, how do I make them go away?

Just curious. Are you equally upset when a woman says something sexual?

Were you ever sexually abused or violated at any point? Have you talked to a therapist about it?

I'm curious about the responses you'll get this one because I'm the same way. I even stopped showing up to day treatment because one of the men started talking about his sex life. It was fine and dandy up until that point.
Blame it on me, but know that I won't regret one iota.

Hello!
I have the same problem as you. I feel very angry when a man begins to speak about sexuality to me. But to tell you the truth, I don't know if I'm lesbian even if I suspect myself of being lesbian. I fantasize over girls and feel disgusted by men...

I love me some boobies...

While I love them in all shapes and sizes I'd have to say I'm partial to size C. Like a perfect C. I'm not overly fond of artificial ones, either. I like them just how nature intended.

I just love the direction this thread just went! It's almost ironic but it's funny because it's intentional.

These comments provide and excellent example of why these women might be onto something.
I have an ongoing beef with male sexuality too, and I'm not a gay woman. I think it might boil down to the word "disrespect". It's the one common theme that seems to run through much male hetero sexual attitudes towards women.
