This one is probably the best find of them all. It slows the whirlwind of emotion. My emotions still cycle around but not nearly as fast and aren't nearly as chaotic and my moods, emotions and reactions aren't nearly as severe/intense.

Klonopin (Clonazepam): 3mg

Helps my anxiety in general I suppose. I'm probably on too much of this one though.

I'm about to go up to 200 mg of the Lamictal as well. It's not overly sedating is it? I'm currently on 100 mg. When my psychiatrist told me I'd be doubling it, I was like, "Whaaaa?"

And, just wanted to comment, but 3mg of the Klonopin does sound like quite a bit. I was only on 1mg before and I was quite sedated.

I, personally, didn't find it overly sedating; but then I didn't find 100mg sedating. Really, I found it neutral. It's effect on my mental state increased but that's it. Thinking back; if anything I found it less sedating. I got a slight buzz from it.

Yeah, to be honest I went up from 2 to 3 by my request. Truth is, at the time I wanted to be a bit 'high' ... wanted to be a bit out of it to escape what was going on around me at the time which rather sucked. For a time, it was pleasant and it worked. Now, as it does, the 'high', mildly-stoned feeling has gone away. When my doctor found out I'd gone up a mg due to increased stress he didn't care much,.. I've been on the stuff forever so doctors seem to trust my judgement with it. I'm going to 'request' I go back down to 2mg pretty soon here but I'm dreading the withdrawal.

Peace

Lamotrigine/Lamictal 50 mg: By far the best thing I have used. I felt so much butter on this drug. Unfortunately I had to go off of it because it interacts with hormonal birth control and causes problems.

Clonazepam/Klonopin .5 mg: Works wonders in keeping my anxiety under control, and I don't have any side effects.

Sertraline/Zoloft 50 mg: I don't typically like SSRIs, but this one has always worked the best for me. When they took me off the lamictal I was put on this.
I may be crazy, but at least I'm self aware. Nothing frustrates me more than denial.

Lamictal: 400mg helps keep me on a more even keel

Risperdal: 2mg really reduces dissociation and since I'm also bipolar, mania

Adderall: 30mg helps with ADHD symptoms and also depressive symptoms

Ones that don't work for me -- antidepressants in general since I also have bipolar; ativan and klonopin make me feel like a depressed zombie
borderline personality disorder
bipolar
generalized anxiety disorder

.5 mg of clonazepam up to 4x weekly is all I am allowed..which is a shame because its the only thing that works 100% of the time for panic, anxiety, and those terrible mixed states of depression plus irritability.
Been on it 9 years..
Can't tolerate anti depressants

I'm liking topamax and quetiapine. The seroquel is for anxiety and paranoid thinking. I no longer feel as though everyone is watching me, especially the police. Seroquel fills the void a little somehow too. The topamax makes the the low mood swings not as intense or last as long. I'm still angry and violent meep. It's actually the only medication that can lift my dysthymia. Tons of side effects but my sanity is worth it and it balances the ravenous hunger caused by the seroquel.

SSRIs and benzos helped my anxiety but I'm not allowed on either anymore haha. The potential for ssris to make me more suicidal ruled them out recently and benzos can be abused. Otherwise, all antidepressents are useless. The only med that ended in disaster, however, was wellbutrin.

I've been on way too many psychiatric meds for my age sigh.
