It's True

Postby SmileXx » Sun Feb 28, 2010 6:13 am

Everything they say about us. It's true.
We make victims out of people. I did tonight, and have nights before without stopping to think about it...
Stopping to think about it makes things worse.
I feel evil.

You're absolutely right.

If everything they say is true, then it's also true that you can learn to manage what you have.

You had a slip. Just like any "normie." You might feel evil, but don't believe that you are evil.
You are human.
Do not take my advice before talking to your doctor/counselor/other professional. Depending on where you live, you may be able to find free, confidential care. Most importantly, sometimes your shrink can be wrong. Get a second opinion.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to be BPD to make victims out of people, normal people do it all the time.

Everyone's inherently bad, people just have walls (societal and mental) that prevent them from acting out on their bad impulses. People with BPD just have weaker walls, doesn't make them any more evil, just makes it harder for them to restrain themselves.

I'm a humanist. I feel everyone is inherently good if they'd let themselves be.
We're having the same problems today...
I keep snapping...
But I'm calmer now that earlier...
And the bf is dealing with me pretty alright...
He's trying, and he knows I'm not meaning to.

I know you're wrong that everyone is inherently good, because I know I'm not. (by your definition of good, not mine, by my definition of good, I'm the only one :P)

You don't know my definition of good.

Good: Acting according to nature.
Nature, the animal kingdom, has predators and killers and slow painful death by snake and spider bites.
So everyone is just reacting to nature.

If I acted more according to nature I'd probably be in jail, so even by that definition of good I don't qualify.

See, if I was a narcissist, I would never admit to this.

Oh stop it.
Don't make me whack you.
I carry a large carp and I'm not afraid to smack you with it.
