Need advice please

Postby mommaj » Tue Sep 15, 2009 6:32 pm

Hello I wrote a few days ago about my husband and his irrational behavior. We are suppose to be moving soon, he has now gone so far as to take me off the lease and switch our townhome to a one bedroom in the same building and told me "your a** is out on the street b*tch" when I asked what about our daughter he says "figure it out" after that I realized he was in a rage and there was no talking logic, it took a second to figure out though and I freaked out pretty bad cryed and asking him what he was doing to our family and why. Its hard not to freak out about these things, but once I realized I backed off and did my own thing. Now that hes gone what can I do if he goes through with all this I have 10 days until move day, we are married, can he legally do this?

Hi mommaj,

It's cerrtianly a terrible situation that has now arisen for you to face. Staying calm - firstly - is what you must do. It sounds like he's gone completely nuts, but that's not how you should go through all of this. What you need to do is get information on what your legal rights are here. So, call or visit a solictors' agency, or maybe speak to a friend who has gone through something like this before. Alternatively, wait around here for a while for someone to reply who may have gone through something like this before too (but the advice that they give might not be applicable to your state/country).

So - yeh - two main things: 1) Get legal advice; 2) Taklk to your friends.
