hi I'm newly dx and struggled for 27 years

Happy day. I finally found a literature that speaks to me. i've been in and out of therapy for 27 years and finally have found what is "wrong" with me. After two hospitalizations and probably 10 - 15 therapists over the last 27 years, I finally encountered a therapist who openly diagnosed me as BPD. Why don't they tell us sooner?

I've been reading everything I can get my hands on, especially Masterson whom I love.

I don't have access to a therapist who knows DBT but I do have a great therapist. Can anyone recommend which is the best book to read about DBT?

I would love to hear success stories. I have hope now that I can get well, now that I finally know what is wrong.
