Is this Behaviour more like BPD or HPD?

I realise that PD's can't be diagnosed from one behaviour.

However, just curious what this beahviour is indicative of.

I know a girl that does the following. She says when she is in a bad mood, she will go out and have a one night stand and subsequently reject the guy (not sure if she literally means one night stand or a shortish fling that lasts longer).

She says that she doesn't know why...but rejecting the guy feels really good. Makes her feel much better.

So it's not so much the ego boost she is after, or the feeling of winning, but she enjoys causing pain in the other.

Is this behaviour more BPDish or HPDish? My inclination is to suggest is that it is more BPDish, as BPD's are specialists in making others feel as bad as they are feeling.

I'd be interested in others' opinion.

(She has other behaviours that show she is messed up but for now that's not relevant).

I honestly don't think such speculations are healthy. Too many people try to self-diagnose themselves or others as it is. That's just my opinion, however.
