Personality Disorders Tests

Postby blackandwhiterainbow » Fri Mar 02, 2018 3:38 pm

I stole this from ASPD forum; I thought it was quite interesting and funny to do.

What do you score? Do you agree or disagree with your results? Why?

I’ve done several tests online before, and I always get ‘very high’ for BPD, so I guess they must be at least in some part accurate.

Come on, I was hoping for more detailed/more results :)

Including this one?

Why is this weird? Have you been diagnosed with this PD or with traits?

I think it's nice to do these tests because some results can be surprising. As for myself, 3 years ago I couldn't even imagine that I would be diagnosed with a PD. I knew nothing about PD. That kind of tests help us to know better about ourselves, and to know what is considered as "pathological".

Of course since it's an online test the results must not be taken too seriously. But yeah, funny and interesting, so why not?

Interestingly enough, most of those ASPD/Socio/psychopath whatever tests like to put me like one, but on MMPI, I fit more into a profile of someone with AVPD/Schizoid PD. So much for that.

Interesting indeed. I guess MMPI is more accurate (I don't know about this) isn't it?
What do you suppose might make the difference?

I can’t remember if I’ve done this one before. So I just did it scored 40 for the BPD one which means ‘you may have BPD’. I don’t know what the score was out of.

I'm thinking MMPI gives more reasonable results due to it's well-used and well researched thing, rather than just using scale you are X or you are not X based on a couple of questions. 567 questionnaire is, by default deemed to be the more accurate one, other than that, it does use several scales to determine elevations. All in all, it's greatly more developed, and as such, accurate.

@blackandwhiterainbow YES, I have been diagnosed with traits of it but I have never gown full blown narcissist. The questions were weird. I do not feel special or that I wanna be treated in a special way...

94 it seems. I think you're just below the limit which indicates a PD (according to this test I mean)

And what is your opinion about this? Do you think you tend more towards the aspd or towards the avpd and/or schizoid pd?

I don't think this is weird, this is part of the disorder. But of course one must be self aware and honest to get the more accurate results, which can be quite difficult. And again, your answers show that this test is far from perfect. Just wanted to know where and why.
