An opportunity to pass RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT on some evil scumbag.
Probably not really, though. Probably 6 hours of staring at a wall and then being picked for some #######4 case about shoplifting a tube of lipstick out of CVS.

Just be careful. Depending on the case, some of the evidence may be very triggering.

And another be careful thing.....in the UK if you were to post any info about jury service on social media/forums you can actually get yourself into trouble - criminal charges. So make sure you don't get yourself into hot water by talking about it on here. I don't know how the law is where you are with such things.

Well I didn't get picked for anything and was sent home. Meh. Sounds like it would have been lame anyway. The judge giving us orientation was like, "We handle serious cases here, not less important stuff like assault and battery, serious stuff like settlements of hundreds of thousands of dollars." Lolwtf

Isn't that called something? Nullified jury, or something close to that. Idunno I'm tired. But yeah for certain things like buying weed or whatever I would vote not guilty no matter what, too. Not gonna ruin someones life over some BS laws.
