Does the forum accept undiagnosed BPD's....

...or do people think that they are posers? Just wondering.

Anybody who relates to the symptoms is welcome here, diagnosed, or not.

Even those who don't relate to the symptoms are welcome, as long as their intentions are good and they are not here to lash out.

I'm glad you said that because I was on the verge of posting to say I can't come here any more because my doctors and counsellor don't think I have BPD. And I feel guilty for being here.

I think they're wrong, incidentally, but I'm not going to waste time trying to convince people who won't take me seriously. It just makes me more upset.

I'm actually extremely glad to hear that too. I feel I may have BPD and felt this way for a couple months but while i'm on a urgent wait list to see a psych, it still probably won't be until october until I can talk about it

Worst part of that is I find it rather painful to relate to people with BPD so much yet feel I have no place here. Not fair I need someone else to grant me the ability to identify with something.

kah80, that sounds awful. part of me feels like "you MH people better diagnose me with BPD or else" but i'm less bothered by it at the moment for whatever reason.

This is exactly something I could have written.

The doctors make me doubt myself. Maybe I don't have it, if they're so sure. They are the professionals. But then why do I have so many symptoms? I'm so confused.

But anyway, this post isn't about me.
