The most pathetic thing about treating depression, is that we cannot access the stuff that would actually help us. Food and Drug admin, can't figure a way to administer this stuff, so that those who need it won't overdose, and those that don't, won't use it for criminal activity. GHB alone would be infinitely more effective than any antidepressant you may be taking, which leads to the last and most pathetic point which is that big pharma has a vested interest in keeping this stuff off the market, cuz they can't make any money. The anticholinergic class of drugs if dosed just right has the effect of turning that entire area between your temples and behind your eyes, completely off. You would not be able to ruminate even if you tried, It's a completely different feeling than the sedation that comes from benzos or alcohol, it's literally and inability to think. It is pleasurable.
