hi, i just wondered if anyone could explain what bpd is, because quite frankly i don't get it
i do have this diagnosis.
i guess none has ever explained it me what it is.

I started typing up a response, but then in my research realized the National Alliance on Mental Illness already does an excellent job in most everything I wanted to say. Here's a link to the site.

It amazes me! Because only 5 of 9 criteria need to be met, that means no two people have quite exactly the same disorder. You could get 256 of us in the same room and all of us have different presenting problems!

There's a lot to sift through there, and it's a complex disorder, so if you have any questions or just want to chat, feel free to shoot me a PM - I'd love to help you understand more! It's something I live with and did extensive research on in college, so I've got some background with it to help explain further if necessary. Or just talk/ramble/rant about it!
