There will always be good days and bad days. My ups and downs have been extremely polarized. I forget what good days are like on bad days. I wrote this for myself, but maybe you are having a bad day now and need it.
Good days are coming. They always do. You will smile again. You will laugh. You will forget how terrible bad can be, just as you have now forgotten how amazing good can be. The darkness subsides. Night always gives way to day. Allow yourself to rise. Acting less depressed can help you shed your depression, so force a smile, give a gift, change a life and be compassionate to yourself. Each day, give someone someone they could never repay.
And remember, the key to having less bad days isn't to force yourself to return to the goodness. The way is to learn balance. I hope your day gets better. Take heart, because I promise you that you aren't the only one that feels this way. You aren't alone. Your life is worth more than you think. You aren't just throwing away the bad days if you end things, you are throwing away the good ones too. Don't be rash, just be accepting of self and learn to love you.
