Canadian?

Postby Thompson99 » Mon Jun 30, 2014 10:46 am

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone out there can shed some light on the Canadian health system, Quebec preferably.

Whether you live there, have lived there or know for any other reason all info on what I can expect as someone with BPD would be greatly appreciated!

I'm so happy with my team here (UK) and before making any huge life decisions I need some idea of what will change.

Thanks

Quebec's got their own system, so I don't know the specifics of it, but I can give you some generals. What do you want to know?

Anything at all! Here it was all just put in place for me, I have weekly visits from a psychiatric nurse and the community mental health team gets more involved when needed. I know where I stand with them, how to get help and all my rights when it comes to sections and hospital.

I'm worried that not knowing where to start will lead to me not getting any help and all the work I've put in till now just going to waste.
