thank you. I think that advice makes a lot of sense. I know I have codependent tendencies like that so I have been trying to flag that behavior and work through it, but obviously it takes time to reverse those habits. so I will have to be patient with myself and others. I have also been feeling quite off the past couple weeks because I adjusted a medication dose, and it really sucks because a lot of the problems it was initially helping a lot with (including sensitivity and negative brooding and whatnot) are back full force. so I'm hoping I'm just going through an adjustment period and that my mood will even out soon.

It used to drive me nutty for years! Now I look at it as a good excuse to go do something else. As far as offences go, don't much care about that, most of the time. Unless I'm already feeling anxious, then it's going to be a pretty big freakin' deal - I hate it when that happens! I've had many an embarrassing meltdown that's ruined entire plans that shock the heck out of people. Now, I try to remember to just make my excuses and go do something else if I feel on the verge, it's so not worth it.

I hate people who do this. It's enough to make me discard them. Or just mess with them to teach them a lesson.
