Reconciliation Day

My name is Alex and I owe this community an incredible apology. Over the last year my emotions had gone out of control resulting in the posting of irritating and offensive comments that bothered members and the like. Emotions are our guides through life as every one is there for a good reason, so when the war is over you don’t beat BPD, you enslave it.

I like to think of it as a small child. I don't want to beat or enslave this poor traumatised little girl. On the other hand, with no discipline and left to rule my life she will draw all over the walls, kick down doors, spit in my drinks and swear up a storm. I have to be a gentle and caring yet very practical and draw up some boundaries. I have to parent myself. Guess it would have been better if I'd been parented as an actual child, but that's life!
