Which anxiety meds/why

Dear All - I would really appreciate your suggestions on what meds would be the best to deal with acute anxiety. I'm already on sertraline (zoloft) and been having panic attacks like crazy these last few days. Called the crisis team earlier today and they said I should set up an appointment with my doctor tomorrow morning and ask for anxiety meds…I know some meds make you way worse, some are slower than others etc…

Today was hell and I don't want another day like this.

I agree with the crisis team. I would suggest you see your doctor and explain to them how you are feeling and that what you have right now is not working well enough for you. There is no magic regime for everyone...so hopefully your doctor can work with you to fix the dosage on the zoloft or try something else.

I had sertaline, venlafaxine, fluoxitine. I am now on Peroxatine. They work fine for me.. you should see your Doctor.
