Do you live for yourself or someone else?
How do you think it's SUPPOSED to be (if we want to get the most out of life)?
It is my goal to define myself by my actions, not by my labels.

I think we're SUPPOSED to live for ourselves. I think I currently live for others. No one really in particular, but just so that I don't hurt others. I lost my sister to cancer and had to watch my parents, her friends, and others who knew her suffer through one child's death. I don't want to have to do that to other people in my life.
Though I often wonder how many, if anyone would show up to my funeral if I were to pass away.

No one.
Actually that's not quite right. My parents as they would be distraught if I killed myself.
I'm not living for myself. I'm just existing.

Not really sure other than the opposite of what I feel now.

My parents. I don't have a wife or kids, and I decided back in my teens (and to date, haven't changed my mind) that my big goal is to outlive my parents. I don't want them to have to bury their only child. Once they're gone, I take care of their estate and I'm done.

I'm just existing too, I think we're supposed to live for ourselves, but I'm trying to find something to live for.

I am living so I can really know who I am. If I am happy for one year out of my life, it will
be worth it. I want to be happy and to know me

I live for myself mainly, but I also have a child. Having a child has forced me to grow up some, and I have to consider his welfare in all my choices. It sucks, I'm immature, but at the end of the day, I force myself to do the right thing. HATE being an ADULT.
