Phrases to assist with empathy, waiting and good manners

Postby Cate68 » Fri Aug 16, 2013 1:11 pm

Do you ever get to where you don't want to speak to someone and you just want to go? If they want to ask you something, you just are thinking about you and not them?

Or do you have patience with the phone?

I have to wait about 5 seconds and I hold the phone out so I don't click on folks.

One of the greatest blasphemies is the taking of one's freedom of thought, dictating matters of the heart and the theft of another's personal peace.

Everyday I live is an act of rebellion.

I need phrases

The lack of communication has nothing to do with any speech defect.

I'm pretty good with language but not always with manners. (On the school assessments long ago, the verbal section showed a good ability with language).

***********************I am self centered and mean spirited. This is why I don't do well with others when they talk to me in the corporate setting. I need to be nice.. It's time for me to grow up!!!!!!__________________________

Samples
:

" Good morning, how I can help today?"

"I understand...so do I need to x or y?"

"I'm glad to help."

"So, to clarify.................."

____________

Sample:

"My friend is a/an...and she needs (x or y for her business/corporation/school)............"

Me: (next time) "How can I help?"

Me: "That sounds good."

Them: "I need xy and z."

Me: I'd be glad to (do x, y and z)

Them: "Great. Thank you."

Me: "You are welcome."

Other: "Just to clarify.............."

Slow down and LISTEN to them and not just dash away.

I need phrases to say in the professional setting. Language.
