Clearly what they are doing is offending you. It's crossing a boundary you have and, if I wonder how I would feel in that position, I would feel a variety things - like being judged and minimized to something physical which would be very invalidating to me as "a person".

It's totally understandable that you would dislike people doing that. I would as well. I feel that same way if someone tries to get me to take them home right after meeting me (especially when they haven't asked anything about me). There's more to me than that and I want more than that. If that's all they want, that's their prerogative and they can look elsewhere.

PoF is often used as a "hook up" meat market by single (and even non-single) people so it's not really a shock that you're experiencing that. It sounds like you're handling it very well though. I would instantly cross people like that off my list. They're not worthy of my time.

For what it's worth, there's a thread going around in the admin section right now about online dating with some equally warped stories. Even admins and mods have bad luck when it comes to online dating, and as I've read, it gets worse when you actually meet a date!
