I've been thinking about creating a blog here for awhile now, but I wasn't sure what to put on it. I've decided to share some information about myself, Q&A style, which includes some questions that people have asked me over the years.

If anyone reading this has any questions they'd like me to answer in my next blog post, feel free to either post them openly in a reply to this blog or send your questions to me in a PM.

-- Why did you choose that username?

I chose the username Reaper mainly because I liked the sound of it, but also because it relates to some of my 'darker interests'. It seemed appropriate.


-- Where are you from?

Somewhere below Heaven, just north of Hell. In other words, Australia.


-- Were you diagnosed with any personality disorders or other mental health issues?

Yes. I was diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder and Schizoid Personality Disorder.


-- I've heard rumors that you self-diagnosed, is that true?

No, it's not true at all. I was diagnosed by a clinical psychologist.


-- Are you a psychopath?

I don't know. AsPD and psychopathy are not the same thing and I was tested for AsPD, not psychopathy, so I can't be certain if I'm a psychopath or not. I do have a lot of psychopathic traits though, so it's possible.


-- Do you believe you were born the way you are or made the way you are by your upbringing and environment?

Again, I don't know. I suspect both based on a saying that I think applies to me very much: Nature loaded the gun and nurture pulled the trigger. I was raised in a violent and chaotic environment, but since I was an unemotional child, not much affected me. There was no point in my life where I changed from being a 'normal', healthy-minded person to how I am now because how I am now is how I've always been (though, I experience a lot more anger, aggression and hostility now than I did as a child).


-- Do you like having AsPD?

No, not really. It's a shltty disorder in my opinion that can really screw up your life. If I didn't have it I think I would have achieved a lot more in life by now. As it is, I feel like I'm slowly self-destructing and there's nothing I can do about it. Sometimes I think prison is inevitable.


-- Have you ever committed a crime?

Yes, I've committed multiple crimes over the years, starting at the age of 7 (or 8, I don't remember exactly). Some of the crimes I've committed were serious, others were petty crimes.


-- Have you ever been convicted of a crime?

No, but I have been reported to the police a number of times. Most of those reports were for threatening people's lives.


-- What traits of AsPD and Schizoid PD do you actually have?
