Is it Possible? YES

So what is it that is possible? Right to the point. What I am saying is possible is that the deep amount of sadness and depression you are presently in can be changed. Not in 10 weeks but in 10 minutes. Sure , right, this person is way out of their mind and I am not going to keep reading is what your saying. STOP. Keep reading, I did not say eliminated in 10 minutes but changed. After the ten 10 minutes you are on a road to wellness and in that same day you will start to experience major changes throughout your body and mind. Yeah right. I would not write this if I have not experienced it myself for one full week.( referring to number 2, breathing and exercise )Do I know the pain of depression? To the deepest levels imaginable. Not only in the mind but the body. Imagine taking a 10 inch giant cutting knife to your chest everyday for a full month and for every second of the day you are seeing yourself killing yourself. Maybe you don't have to imagine but at least now know your reading thoughts of someone who knows your pain. Spending years in agony and torture with only one thing driving me. A higher cause or purpose higher then myself( which can be a loved one, animals included, helping people , etc) So all that I can do now is share what I have learned. Since we live in an age of instant information I will write down ten of the most important factors for change to take place.

1)Desire to take action to make the change and giving up any habit of fear and doubt. Meaning just give something a try and see what happens. You hear this a lot but it is absolutely true. Once you commit, something will happen that breaks a pattern or a state your in that you don't want to be in.
2) Using your body and breath to instantly make an impact on your present state( exercise, walk run, jumping jacks, weight lifting, push ups, etc) this can help with anxiety as well. What I am relearning is what a deeper impact the use of my body and breath then me trying to think myself out of something. Even completely changing my posture can cause something positive to happen. Cant walk or run? Try standing or sitting and lift your arms and move them like your rowing a boat.( both arms at the same time) Breath in through the mouth while pulling and breath out while your releasing. Try this at first for 7 to 10 times and see what happens. You will get energy. Throughout the body and mind. Do it again if you can or until you get to that state. If it doesn't happen after two attempts , stop,it will effect you within an hour. Breathing is key . Your a smoker? Try it anyway. It will be a great way to start valuing your breath. Need to relax? Breath in through the nostrils, hold a few seconds then exhale deeply. This I would not overdue , maybe two times, because you need to get used to it and it is very powerful. Take it from someone who doubted this for a long time but then tried it. It works. It gives you the charge your going to need to fight the bad condition your in. The rowing , breathing exercise can be done as much as you want. The nostril breathing takes some building up to. Stretching for a minute or two is excellent as well. Want to wake up and feel better instantly? Try some cold water and rub it over your face a few times, even try rubbing it over your upper body for a minute. Try warm water for relaxing. About exercise , if you have not done it for a long while, just do it for a very short time. Eventually you will be able to work up to more intensity. Remember BREATHE.
3) When your thinking is bad get into someone elses thoughts that are much better and positive and uplifting( book, music, you tube etc)
4) Its often said that fear is the main reason that holds people back from making a change or taking action. As true as it is, its doubt that holds us back just as much if not more. Please stop doubting and start trying.
5) Think of three options( you might think of more) that you have to break the pattern your in and the state your in and do one( or multitask) and if one doesn't work try another one ,etc.
6) Aspire to being well. Its a building block to happy moments. Lets face it we are all bonded by pain and the pursuit of happiness. I don't look to be happy, I value to be well. Happiness is temporary for many of us , being and feeling well and taking the action to get there at any given moment is in my experience a much more attainable goal. If you get happy and can stay there, that's awesome.
7) The more you talk about your pain and troubles and haven't stumbled across the answer( or haven't listened to a good piece of advice), the worse your going to get. Keep talking about it and the bad pattern continues. Take an action, a new good pattern starts to develop.
8) If you can dream about something or have a long term plan for your life that's really good because it can motivate you. Yet realize, its now that effects your present state. Now really is everything. I dwelt in the past for what seemed like eternity. It didn't help, I decided to mourn it for a bit and then I threw it all away(believe me it takes some effort) Why? Because it isn't helping me now. Get angry, cry, or whatever you want for a minute and then just throw it away if it is too painful. You will need the actions mentioned above to give you the power to do this. As far as the future. Think in 10 minute plans if you have to because those are the building blocks to not only thrive long term but also cope with the problems you will have.
9) Think of food as a drug. Each food we eat has a certain effect on our well being. Yes fruits and vegetables are key.Ughhhh!!!!! but I want to eat potato chips and ice cream. you say So do I , so do most. Try balance. Find one fruit you can deal with, maybe an orange or a banana. The positive effect on the way you feel is instant. Avocado is a great fruit as well. Don't like vegetables? Nor do I. Try a soup that has vegetables in it( maybe go radical and its a vegetarian soup) vegetables have an intensely positive effect on your well being. If all else fails try a a salad with a good dressing. After eating any these foods you will notice a good effect on your well being. The rest of what you eat is up to you. Do not forget to hydrate with enough water and electrolytes. Don't want the sugar in power drinks? They make water now with electrolytes.
10) Last but not least, while I was in a very dark place many years ago the thought if you can't be happy be grateful came to me. If you can't feel grateful at least have perspective. Meaning look at every good thing you do have and realize many do not have it. It could be food, fluids, a home, a bed, bodily functions, loved ones. The list can go on. If you practice these things it can start to change in the way you think. Also how much anger is in you? The greatest way I find to deal with it is to either intense exercise or going to a quiet place and start yelling and screaming about everything I'm angry about and release it. Once that toxic state is gone your mind and body are clearer and you are not taking it out on anyone else( eventually you will just learn and be able to not get angry) If you are not a believer in God can you at least start to believe in goodness? Are you full of hate? Its a negative condition that never leads anywhere good for you or anyone else. So many of us rant and rave about the state of the world but never think of making a change in the world in the way you can. Look, the world can be a really tough place to live in. Please believe me on this one ,you can be in some of the most horrible and torturous states imaginable but start turning it around with the power of perspective, the belief in making a small or massive change in yourself or in the world around you. Energy is collective. Meaning the more we gather in bunches and speak and act in a negative way the more that energy spreads and effects the world around us( the opposite is true as well) In closing this exercise can be for anyone. Try this. For twenty minutes of your life( maybe ten) take every negative thought you have or say and instantly think or speak a positive thought.( this is where perspective comes in handy) If you do this enough it becomes like mental ping pong. After a while you wont have to swing the paddle. The process almost becomes automatic. Take it a step further and if you are doing or have done something negative in your life immediately go out and do something positive. A big part of depression or a state of being that isn't good, meaning a troubled state ,can stem from shame, regret, a sense of failure. If you hurt someone go out and do something good to honor them. That's the greatest form of apology you can make. As far as regret learn from it. Let it guide you to do better. As far as failure. Try something new or take a completely different approach at the thing you have failed at or walk away from what not only what you have failed at but has failed you and find another purpose. Also, about the people in your life that cause you frustration and cause you to feel negative that you can't walk away from and will have a relationship with the rest of your life or a good part of your life. Will they ever change? Only if they want to but if you realized after a few attempts there not going to change ,do this. Limit your contact with them or keep it short. Have mercy on them and love them but understand you need to preserve yourself. Think of it like this. Look at any wall wherever you are and ask yourself if it can make you a cup of coffee or cook you a meal. The answer is no( at least at this point in technology) So when you are around that person absolutely know what your going to get and decide how long you can be around it. Don't get angry or frustrated just walk away and do something positive. So have I lived and breathed every word I have written almost my entire life?( I'm over 40) Meaning did I experience all these things? Yes. Was I the greatest person? Not at all. So what I hope is somehow this is something you can learn from to enhance your well being and possibly those around you. Also just know I know about antidepressants and all things considered. If everything your doing is working for you, then keep doing it. Just realize that a lot of times it takes work to get you through different moments in the day but hopefully this information can help you because I know it has helped me and I wouldn't waste your time. Just know this. I was written off by everybody so many times but I am better then I have been in a long time and yes I know what complete loneliness is. Notice everything I am saying is about you getting yourself better. It can be done using everything I wrote. Do we need professionals ?Absolutely, but the truth is you may not have access to one. My hope is start support groups with not only what I am talking about but what others have learned as well.( we need to to take the stigma off all this and give people love.) There is a need for it and I hope to see it happen. In closing there are so many people that I can thank for helping me and guiding me in my journey but it would give away my identity. If there is one man I would thank over the last few weeks of my life it is someone many of us know about and if your like me doubted and even criticized him. Why? I didn't think he had been in enough pain in his life so I figured how I can I relate to him or he relate to me. Over time he has revealed the pain he was in( deep pain) but he was committed to was getting out of it and helping others at a young age. He works at feeling good everyday of his life .He has good habits and now he shares just about everything for free. His name is Anthony Robbins. Did I learn everything from him? No. Yet what I learned was so vital in getting to a place of wellness and being able to share it. The concept of breathing came from him. I always knew to keep moving and keep trying, have a higher purpose then myself, I just never thought to practice breathing. Also quickly changing states. Also power of words, Massive, Radical, etc All in all a lot of inspiration came from him and really give him a try. He has a wonderful spirit and is a powerful speaker. We are fortunate now that we can see him and listen to him. Open your mind to him. Try him in small doses if you have to but I can tell you from living through it and out of it he is speaking complete truth. Watch on you tube Tony Robbins Motivation- The power of certainty and state of mind.(just give it a try) I didn't know whether to go here but I will. I have practiced my spirituality deeply the last fifteen years. I was always a believer but when crisis struck I turned to it very intensely and I am most thankful to Those I pray to. I believe we all have had a different journey and it has formed our different beliefs spiritually. If you never tried it and all else is failing that's where you need to turn first and last. Again whatever you believe or don't believe I complete respect your journey and most of all have the highest of hope for you. All the best and my deepest compassion. Of course always feel free to message me if needed.
