People confuse the whole bible into being about Christianity. It's not! The Old Testament deals with Judaism. The New Testament is Christianity. Christianity starts and ends with Jesus. His birth, his life, his death and resurrection. The Old Testament is the basis of Judaism. When Moses wandered the desert for 40 years. He created what is known today as "The Law" or what is considered God's law by them(Jews) i.e. not eating shellfish, etc. When Jesus preached among the gentiles(non-Jews) he ate with them too and consumed shellfish, which went against the law! A lot of these ministers don't really study the bible properly. They take it out of context and don't consider what means to them today meant something completely different to someone else in another language 2000 years ago! Some bibles use the term "Homosexual" and these books are false or translated poorly. The term Homosexual was first coined in the 1800's. The actual word from the original bible in ancient Greek is "Arsenokoitai" and its true meaning is debated by scholars. It could mean many things like male prostitutes, pedophiles and masturbators, but not specifically homosexuals! I as well as many others believe it refers to Masturbation and if that's true then I better invest in suntan lotion because I'm going to burn! lol! I'm sorry for the bible lesson but this a pet-peeve with me being a bible scholar. I don't like it when people twist the true meaning of such a fine gift to mankind as The Holy Bible to serve they're own selfish and hateful agenda! In my own personal opinion. I refer to people like those in the Westboro Baptist Church as heathen Christians!

Homosexuals and the bereaved are good targets! The goons at the Westboro Baptist Church are all scammers! They are involved in literally hundreds of lawsuits a year. Suing people, organizations, towns, everyone and plus they live tax free from being a church. There are two men whose careers I've followed for several years who both walked the line when it came to free speech. Both of them were outspoken racists and both went to prison for going too far! These goons at WBC will cross that line too one day!
