What if you are a part of them both? In my eyes the "problem" is the past, while the "solution" is the future. Its very hard to forget your past if it has given you problems in your present (or what was your present and future before). Some psychiatric patients feel the need to be social but at the same time struggle to be in relationships. I call them "plusions". 0 Comments Viewed 8305 times Cleaning the tableThe only confirmation my mother gave to my stepfather in the beginning of their relationship was the rejection of her first born children.
My stepfather asked why she had so many children in her first marriage, and she said that she "just" got pregnant and then had to marry him. So my stepfather turns to my mother kindly and says so tenderly, devotionally, sympathetically, empathetically and happily that she only had done as a duty. My mother hanged on to this explanation like it was gold. And i guess for a mother of 3 children in a new relationship, having that excuse was like having the door wide open for the next relationship. When that is said i can`t really say that she always took so good care of her "duties"..she had 3 but 2 of them lived with their father permanently and sometimes she would forget about me. 0 Comments Viewed 8610 times Cats ruleMy grandmother had a cat called "sheeba" it would chase the neighbour dog and lie on a stool all day.
I was fascinated by it since it was my first cat, but she would scratch me all the time( i was only a small child). I`d come home to my mother full of scratches once she even got me on my nose. A very distinct old lady...didn`t like little children who woke her up from her little snooze.. And i was so young i didn`t care about what my grandmother said and just continued to go over to her hoping that she would become my friend. NO! I am boss here! The only time she would step down from her throne was when my grandmother gave her food, she would stand on the kitchen floor crying like a baby and my grandmother would say "what`s the matter baby?". Ah she loved being centre piece.. When we say "cats rule" we mean it in a double way. 0 Comments Viewed 6676 times |
