What is the reason for this? Well there are several, actually. Mainly, it the lack of options for formatting with the Psychforums blog. Levi and I use BBCode quite a bit in our writing, mainly to distinguish ourselves, but also for all of the reasons that most people would use BBCode. Sure, we can distingiush ourselves in the way we have been and, say, use CAPS FOR EMPHASIS, but we don't like doing it ths way because A. Someone who is briefly skimming the post will have a hard time knowing which of us is talking and B. I really don't like sounding like I'm shouting all of the time. Fortunately, our new blog solves all of these problems, as it DOES allow BBCode (well, it's actually HTML, but for all practical purposes the're the same thing ). So yeah, that's reason number one.

Reason number two: Relevance. Levi and I are probably going to end up talking about a lot of things that aren't really related to Psychology, so they'd just be annoying here. Writing on a blog not associated with anything but us ensures that all topics are relevant.

Reason number three: Censorship. On Psychforums, all blogs must be approved by a moderator before being published, and if the moderator feels that the post is innapropriate or unnecessarily triggering, s/he can edit or delete the post as they see fit. I understand the reasoning for this, but it bothers me, and while I'll admit to having no trouble with the mods thus far, it's the simple principle of it that gets to us... well, me anyway.

Well, that's all. You can get back on with your life now.

Oh, One last thing. Since there are no longer any hoops to be jumped through in order to post on our new blog, we have no way of knowing if something we post is going to go over the top and offend people. Therefore, ANY AND ALL POSTS MUST BE REGARDED AS HAVING THE POTENTIAL TO TRIGGER, AND MUCT BE READ AT YOUR OWN RISK AND DISCRETION. Anyway, my name is Aaron, and I am the second of Chessplayer's two alters. Like Levi, I also have several "disorders", but since I'm not here to talk about them, (as I do not feel that they hinder me persoally, and even if they did, I prefer to work through my problems on my own), I don't see any reason to list all of them. So why

am I here then? Well, we both origionally came in search of other people with our "disorder" (the disorder that is our indvidual consiousness's, that is), but we've come to find that we don't really relate to most DID users. So at the moment, I don't have any real reason for being here, but maybe I'll find my purpouse here soon.

So, yeah, about me. Well, I like games that require strategy and problem solving, despite my ametuar skill level at them. I spend a lot of time playing Minesweeper, Final Fantasy, and chess (hence the username). I also love debate, especially when I'm on the losing side of an argument, and for awhile I've also wanted to try more physical activities such as boxing and swordplay.

One more thing. I should warn you that I'm a very sarcastic and sassy person, and I've actually ended up

hurting the feelings of many people that I care about because they misinterperet what I say. If you are a sensitive person, it may be unwise to talk to me, because there's a pretty good chance I'll end up saying something to upset you.

So yeah, that's baically me without going into unnecessary detail.

Levi: Hi, I'm Levi, one of the two alters in Chessplyer's "system". I guess you could say that I'm also the "host" in the system, though I don't really feel like the host. :/

Well, I guess I might as well say why I'm here. Componding the fact that I am one of two "minds" within one body, which many would probably consider an illness within itself, I as an alter have several "problems" of my own. First and foremost, I am a pedophile; I'm attracted to all children emotionally, and girls around the age of 8 physically. I also have many somewhat irrational fears, including but not limited to fear of:

* Driving
* Being a leader
* People with authoriative power (esp. law enforcement) and/or the ability to seriously hurt me, regardless of how they act/ treat me.
* People that scream and yell
* People that are significantly bigger than me.
* Death (or, in particular, ceasing to exist)
* Causing harm to others, especially children

Finally, I feel that I am emotionally unstable, and I cry (internally) spotaneously and for no particular reason. I also suffer from depression on occasion.

But enough about everything that's wrong with me! Let me talk about what I like. Well, I love children (sexually, platonically, "maternally", take your pick, they all apply), small animals, pretty much anything that's cute, soft, or fluffy, cuddling (^^), and sleeping. I also love candy (especially white chocolate), and my favourite food is cheesecake. I love old RPG games with a strong focous on story and character development, and I hate violent and FPS games.
