Hi everyone: I have been suffering with this disorder since 2009 in the pain area. I call them my attack days which last 10 hours of the worst pain ever in my stomach area. I have anywhere from 1 - 3 of these a week. I live in Canada. This is a lonely disorder and thought I would reach out to other suffers. I was diagnosed in 2011 after 2 Years of testing and specialists. Was referred to my Psychiatrist in June 2011 and he is the one to tell me what I have. I was relieved at the time that it actually had a name for my pain but after all these years seeing him regularly doing Cognitive behavior therapy I am still suffering the same. Arg! I have not worked since April 2011 and am on disability. I am on meds for depression and anxiety. I do my best to not worry and have stress in my life as that is what he says brings the attacks on. Would love to hear your stories and touch base with other suffers. I still have hope that one day these will stop. In the mean time I am just dealing.
