Now I hate snow as some of you know So why am I devoting blog space to it?

But I have to have a little rant.

We have up to 4-5 inches of snow fallen - hardly major snow drifts but yet the whole country appears to have come to a standstill. People were abandoning trains and walking along train tracks to get to their destination, roads have come to a halt with lorries parking up in the middle of the road and people abandoning their cars. We are being warned about the perils of being stuck in our cars and what to keep in our boots in case of emergency. We are being asked to look after "old people" in case they die - quite why this is only the case when it snows I am not so sure. Airports have been closed and flights cancelled. This country is really quite idiotic at times.

Having said that I am taking advantage of it in saying that I cannot possibly get to church "due to the weather" so I can go back to bed and have a snooze instead

Wow. Snow sounds sooooooo amazing to me! I hope I see it one day! Regardless of the inconvenience it may cause.

Hehehe - you can have all my snow - I will put it in a parcel to you and insulate it so it arrives to you in one piece lol.

You southerners are all soft we hardy northern folk take this snow in our stride. We'll complain obviously, but we'll still try and make to wherever we need to get to.
Still, I envy you snoozing and taking it easy. Feel free to send more snow up north as ours is melting fast

I am hardcore I will have you know - just better with the extremes of heat rather than cold. You may have my snow with pleasure hehehe
