Re: Careers FairHi Cracked,
That's tough about the job fair. I went to job fairs years ago, and never had much luck at them either. Once you decide what you want to do, you could always work with a recruiting firm that specializes in placing people in your chosen occupational area. I had good luck with recruiting firms, although sometimes you have to try a few out before you find one that is a good fit for your career search. If the medical photography path doesn't work out, I recommend you think about all of the subjects you studied when earning your medical degree and think about the careers in the subjects you excelled at. What about veterinary medicine? It sounds like you love animals and with your medical training it might be a good fit. Although, I am not sure how much additional training it would require. Good Luck, Hologram Live a few years of your life like most people won’t, so that you can live the rest of your life like most people can’t.
Re: Careers FairThank you so much for all your advice hon. I really appreciate it, thank you. I think that it sounds like a plan to talk to a recruiting firm. It just all seems so much to do - I need to write my CV too!
I have found a very part time job working with Mind which I think I might apply for as it sounds good. They are looking for ppl with personal experience of MH issues to help assess Mind services. I did wonder about being a vet but there are two things that I think make it a no - it will mean doing a 6 year course from scratch and also i think I would seriously struggle with putting animals down. Dead animals are a massive trigger for me. But thank you for the thought - I really appreciate it Hugs Cracked So long and thanks for all the fish

Re: Careers FairGood luck with the Mind service job.
I used to want to be a vet, too. I decided not to for the same reason you did. I would never be able to live with myself if I put an animal down or an animal died and it was my fault.
