I know depakote didnt react with it when i drink vodka, and also rum didnt react with my geodon, or the smirnoff for that matter. ask your doctor if it will react with your meds. I didn't but now i would if i was going to do it again. but i would ask your doctor if it is ok first. I got lucky nothing happened to me. Something could have happened considering i was taking antipsychotics and drinking, but it didnt. so ask your doctor first.
I survived psychiatric medications without getting bad side effects.

This is unfortunately not entirely correct. Alcohol diminishes the effect of depakote and both in combination do bad things to your liver (depakote already by itself isn't good to your liver, in combination with alcohol it can be quite disastrous). It's not an effect I would notice from day to day but longer term my mood chart stopped oscillating wildly like a Smiths b-side when I quit drinking.
Currently working on my upcoming signature.

I take an anti-psychotic and I do drink occasionally. For me, I find that my medications make the effects of the alcohol more intense so, I don't need to drink as much. That being said, most doctors do not recommend drinking while taking psychiatric medication. I have had some who say one drink is okay, but no more. I would check with your pdoc first.

A lot of alcohol on Latuda makes a strange feeling happen, difficult to describe, but as if e-stim pads were attached to my brain on a steady sort of buzzing setting. An image of an old-timey TV with snow comes to mind.

I havent touched an alcoholic drink in many years and dont plan to anytime soon. Alcohol is a depressant. That being said, I am too afraid that I might become depressed. I used to be a whiskey man, and sometimes I wouldnt mind having a shot of jack, but I dont dare even think about it. If ya wana get high and go to the show as Pink Floyd would say..smoke a joint. Its alot better than alcohol.

I think it also has to do with your tolerance level. Obviously, the fatter you are...

Also, I forgot to add, I am not on anti-psychotics.

Don't want to lose my bitchy edge. :D
