How have you improved living with APD

Postby tvtst » Sun Oct 07, 2012 11:39 pm

I was just wondering what are the most useful things people to do help improve their APD? Or what helps them to enjoy life more?

Fight against the negative traits bit by bit in your own time e.g. leave your room for a minute, then do it for longer periods then increase the distance you travel from your comfort zone in manageable chunks. Turn some of the traits into strengths like using your powers of observation to help others understand people's behaviors. Use the fantasy mode and powerful imagination to create art in any form.

Well that's what I do.

Well that's what I do.

Me too. I write short stories and poetry based on human nature, and I'm into realistic drawing. As my skills improve I hope to eventually paint and create digital art.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
