Something interesting I found

Postby shnbwmn » Fri Aug 12, 2011 2:15 pm

A few weeks ago I found this awesome speech on youtube.

Just to add some context: it's from the end of a film called 'The Great Dictator', where Charlie Chaplin is acting as Hitler. The film was made during WW2. The music in the background is from the Inception soundtrack, and its called 'Time' by Hanz Zimmer.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Thanks for sharing. I'm guessing you really are a fan of Charlie Chaplin, huh?

Became a fan after watching that speech :)

Charlie has a deep stare, and was a silent film star, kinda symbolises me :D

I love that movie, it's hilarious through-out but that ending speech is so powerful and inspiring. 'Modern Times' is another great film of his and now I have an appropriate place to tell you that I've been admiring your Chaplin avatar for a while now. :D

I use it on quite a few forums, seems to fit me perfectly :)
