Any job where you don´t have to interact a lot with people or lead a team.
The ideal work for a person with AvPD is a from home job.
I chosed an intermediate job. I´m a Primary teacher, so I don´t have to interact a lot with adults but with little children (this is makes things more comfortable for me- It´s totally different). I´m responssible for my class and nothing else.
Another possibility is to work as a technician, computers ...I don´t know.

I'd go for something that is somewhat of a challenge. Jobs without interaction may seem great, but they're just opening the door for you to sink further into avoidance.

This is the worst part. I went through hard times in the university. I hated group activities. I tried to be far away from people during the breaks. I rarely went to the coffee in the university. In the same moment I realized I got closed to someone, I tried to avoid her and especially him in the next class. I focussed on the class.
When I begun to do the practice in schools. I realized this is the job I wanted to do. I simply felt comfortable with the children.

MynorityBRAVEone! I only can say"olé"
I also tried to do this. I chose to study tourism as a way to overcome my poor abilities for relations, I was studing for a year. When I did the practise in a hotel, I thought "no, this is too much for me". But, it´s good that you want to try it.
What are you studying for?

I don't know anymore. I was close to finishing an engineering degree before physical illness brought about a domino effect that resulted in my getting kicked out. Though, there's still a chance (slight? likely? I don't know?) for me to come back. It's a long, complicated story that's only served to confuse me, frustrate me, and fuel my self-defeating biases. When this semester ends, it'll be two years of essentially just taking electives at a community college. I guess I'm majoring in life? Some of the classes I've taken have secondary/tertiary theraputic benefits, though, so I guess I'm studying for my own benefit. That sounds good.. I'll go with that 8)

"Is an accountant a lonely job?"
I would say yes only if you feel lonely while you are doing it.
I hear honest is easy, and hard work breeds success.
