Venting about extraverts(no offense to them)

Postby electric blue » Fri Jan 01, 2010 5:32 pm

I'm a very quiet person. The thing that I hate though is that extraverts take things like this personally. They find it offensive when I don't talk. Whenever I used to have to do a group assignment I can hear them whisper saying ah man this sucks that he's in our group. Things like that. If your going to say something like that just say at my face. I don't usually get angry but sometimes you just want to punch them.

These guys aren't just extroverts. They're jerks. I'm not sure if all extroverts are jerks. Probably not.

You used the past tense - saying when you used to have to do a group assignment. Does that mean you don't have to do that anymore?

No longer in highschool. Stopped midway through grade 12. Still need 5 credits. I don't know how I'm going to accomplish it.

There are tons of jerks in high school. I don't blame you for dropping out. I wish I had dropped out of my school and gotten a GED. Can you get a GED?

What's a GED?

Also I think in your signatures it says something about avpdnet. What's that exactly?

GED stands for general education development. If you pass that test it is the equivilant of a high school diploma. It is really 5 tests in different subjects.

AvPD net is a private group for people with avoidant personality disorder. Some people like it better since it is private.

I think it varies from person to person.

My most recent experiences with an extrovert have been the exact opposite. He didn't find it disrespectful at all when I didn't speak as those were times where I listened to what he had to say. But, it seemed like it was a role I was expected to fill. Whenever I tried to inject my opinion in or direct the conversation in another way, it was met with some resistance. It was like he couldn't handle not talking for even a short amount of time... which was frustrating. And, really, it's not the only time I've been looked at to fill that kind of role. Listeners who are willing to accept people have a role... unfortunately, it's something we (as a general whole) don't really look at as our envisioned social role.

I would have described that person as a narcissist.
I have no time for these people and don't even entertain them by listening.
I am generally very aggressive towards them, well passively aggressive.

There's one on my Uni course. He's a "racing" driver, and thinks he's god gift at everything.
Truth is, he's a massive vagina. And not the nice kind.

Someone knocked the race series he drives in, said he was rubbish, his car was rubbish and the championship was a joke.
I've never seen a fully grown man throw such a wobbly in my life.
It was like watching a spoilt 7 year old girl who's been told she can't have any sweeties at the supermarket checkout.

This guy really is a proper tool. I can't even begin to explain how much I dislike him.
Another thing, he's been bullying this kid on the course all term while everyone just watches.
I told the tutor but nothing happened. Which pissed me off as it's unacceptable.

At lunch one day the narcissistic dickhead was rubbing cheese in this poor kids face while everyone just looked on.
The kid walked out, and everyone felt bad.

It turned out the kid had taken the cheese and rubbed it over the narcissist's car windscreen.
I though this was ######6 hilarious. The narcissist however, did not.

He proved how much of a cock he is by tampering with the poor kid's motor bike.
He spat all over the seat, handle bars etc let both tyres down and sprayed WD40(oil) onto the brakes.

I made another complaint to the tutor about this, and nothing has been done.

I overheard him saying he thought "it was a joke [he] could be suspended" , and how "[He] never even apologised to him".
