It's mainly abstract algebra, "real analysis", and set theory. Its mainly about proofs, and a set up for graduate school. And there is a ton of writing. Its strange stuff, and it makes me want to slam my head on the desk. Its not even arithmetic based, its all theory and proofs. And discussing with student and writing. Its really weird $#%^. Its definatly a full load.
Are you sure the course/university is right for you?
I spent two years at uni doing a course that really wasn't right for me. Even though I know I wasn't enjoying it, I stuck it out because I felt like I needed to. Like I'd be letting certain people down if I dropped out.
I've just started at uni again. Living at home this time. This course is much more suited to me, and I've already been invited to hang out with people doing the degree.
No, im not really sure. But im better at math than I am at anything else. So if I wanna get somewhere math is my best option. The only guy I know in the class, or on campus, is a complete and utter prick.
