When a Person lost his temper will he speak the truth...

Postby mathanblr » Sat Aug 01, 2009 2:01 pm

Hello every one!.

As I am a newbie for this form ..couldn't really figure out where to post my question.. if any mistake please forgive me and also for my broken English as I am basically not from a English speaking country..

I kindly request ...some physiological expert to answer the following questions since a worst things have happened in my life that led me and my lovable wife to be separated.

1. When a person is very much angry and lost his temper ... Will he speak True ... or Can he speak lies as well.

2. When a person is fully brain washed and forced to make angry on other ( the loved one ) is it that true that she speaks only the negative things happened in their life?

I would like to discuss the rest with a physiological expert personally since its my family matter.

I hope people will understand.

Thanks in advance,

Mathan .S

I think this would be more appropriate in the Relationship Section (as I'm guessing a lot of/most people with AvPD don't know a great deal about relationships)

relationship/

Maybe a mod can move it for you.

It would be better in the relationship forum. Asking people with avpd about relationships is like looking for a drink in the desert.

Ok I'll try to answer the question. I disagree that it should be moved because some high functioning avoidants can be in relationships, and mathan might have posted it here intentionally to get an avoidant's perspective.

For me I bottle things up a lot, and since I can't be myself around anybody but my girlfriend, or express negative emotions to anyone else, so she gets the full brunt of my temper. Especially when I'm drunk. :( So to answer your questions...

1. Yes, I think it is possible, especially for someone like us, to get close to the issues and say some pretty #######5 things but stop yourself from saying the things that could really break you apart. Maybe that's all relationships - there are just some things you know not to say no matter what.

2. I'm not really sure what you mean by brainwashed here. You mean when someone is mad at the other person and can only see the negative? Then yes, it would stand to reason that one thing would lead to another and soon both people would be going through every little thing they've ever done to each other or argued about in the past.

I hope that helped...
