Yea I get that too. It's part of why I have trouble believing a compliment is sincere, it's too hard to believe that I have anything worth complimenting.

Maybe we should start a separate thread about the compliments. I'm never sure how to take them either.

I completely get this. This is exactly how I feel when forced to interact casually with people I don't know. I get extremely bored, and at the same time I hate myself for not having anything to say. Sometimes I also feel this way with friends of mine when they talk about something I can't relate to, or even when I do say things but they aren't received well. It's like.. social interaction is tiring and boring, and yet what we want most in the world is to be accepted and loved by our peers. It's evil.
