My New Years resolution is to fully cure myself of AvPD,I've already beaten the social phobia.Rid myself of my OCD and NPD traits, depression and some other stuff.....I need to sort out.And I will do it.

I have the same resolution. Stay alive and rid myself of AvPD. I am glad to hear you are making progress.

Quit smoking. It makes me completely hypochondriac. Not to mention that I smoke two packs a day and it's terribly expensive.

I want to rid myself of my mental illnesses but there is no return for me, I guess. I'm living in a fantasy world, I've no grasp of reality, I'm living in my fantasies every hour, every minute of the day, not to mention the fact that I'm not honest with myself. If I had to return to the real world I couldn't take it.

I don't do those resolutions. A few years ago I resolved to get laid but I didn't do it until this year when I got so depressed I didn't care.

I'm going to stick through my job until summer hits and hit up the Jim of course... Maybe, it will help me regain some confidence.

i actually made my new year's resolution by accident. because of positive events lately and being successful socially and feeling accepted by a lot of people, i could finally see my faulty pattern of thinking and decided to look at it critically and try and control it. I've succeeded lately and my new year's resolution is to keep working on it. i don't know if i can do it next time i get paranoid but i will try.

My new years resolution is to get up earlier and go to bed earlier. And also to join a keep fit class.

I suppose I am a little late to the party, and although I've never been one for resolutions, as I don't see how one digit on a calendar means I should change my life (although if two digits were changing for 2010 then it'd be a whole different story.) I suppose I would like to be a tad better on the people front, get out a bit more I guess... and I'd like to be a bit more independent (I have been always of the self reliant persuasion, and while my "indoorsyness" hinders that, I still like to try and at least retain as much independence as I can. I have never been one to rely on, or even be close to family, and I suppose that makes me a terrible person, but eh, what can you do.)

I don't make resolutions. I don't see a point. What ever I resolved to do, I would fail. And it wouldn't matter anyway, I hate life and nothing I resolve to do would alter the crushing misery that I live with.

Thats cool that you all are trying to do something though. I hope you are succesful.
