Life Goals

Postby theNegativeCreep » Thu Apr 19, 2018 2:22 pm

Does Anybody here have any specific and tangible life goals?
I'm not talking about the fantasy escapism and daydreaming type stuff.

Goals that can be set and can actually be grasped if worked towards.

If so what are they? (maybe I can steal your's)

It seems that most people have these kind of goals: Carreer, Retirement, Family, Bucket-lists,experiences ...etc..etc.

Apart from not being constantly sad and anxious, I cannot think of anything in this world that that I truly truly want.

The few things I keep up with are the interrests of of the few people I communicate with on some social level (albeit infrequently) just to have some common ground. But they are not Mine . It's theirs.

Not being able to think of anything makes life feel even more meaningless.

Is this common for AVPDers?

Not ending up homeless has always been a biggie for me. Also not ending up in prison - my high school teachers kept telling me that would happen to me. And that I would end up being some guy's wife.

I finally did achieve my goal of getting naked with a girl a few years back. I do believe I posted about it many many posts ago.

Guess that's it - A full life for someone with avpd!!
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

hmmm. for me goals beginning with NOT. don't really count.... or at least they just seem depressing.. but that's the nature if us aint it.

Sure I guess you can transform any statement to the negative (and vice versa) like:
Getting naked with a girl TO Not dying without having got naked with a girl.
But I'm sure you understand the point.

YAY for Full lives lived with AVPD. HYPE! :)
