Does anyone have a tendency towards romantic daydreaming?

I definitely do that. I want so badly to have someone I can be romantically involved with so I fantasize about it from time to time, often when I'm going to bed or sitting in bed.

Me too. Romance often consumes the majority of my daydreaming.

Pretty much everyone(guys/girls, married, single) has romantic daydreams but it may be worst for avoidant people or those with no romantic experience(like myself) because of curiosity. I prefer when they come in nightdreams instead...
I daydream a lot about places I'd like to go though...

I daydream a lot about romance. If I could have a close relationship to a girl I think that would be better than 2 years of therapy. As avoidants we dream about having close relationships to other people, because that is something we avoid in real life. All people dream about love, but it's an extra powerfull need in us because we probably have no close relationships in life because of our problems. To sad I can't have one of the things that could heal me because the problems that need healing stand in the way

Same here, I've given up hope on everything else by now. It is rather unlikely, but those thoughts are pretty much the only thing that keeps me alive.

I once heard this from one of those "relationships expert" about it:
"Those who are not hungry are the most likely to be fed"
It makes sense but it's just cruel to hear.
